One of my favorite little nooks and crannies online is Apartment Therapy. Well they have a book out called Big Book of Small, Cool Spaces. I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy. I am sure it will be an “eye candy” overload.

If you head to Google you’ll find a homage to the video game Pac Man with their doodle logo. Click on it and you can actually play the game. This is all to honor the 30th anniversary of maybe the most popular video game of all time. You got to love those folks at Google.

Genius idea! Instead of sending out your snail mail in a boring old white envelope, print out the Google Map onto the envelope showing where it’s coming from and going to. So maybe it’s just a concept from Rahul Mahtani & Yofred Moik from the Industrial Design program at Syracuse University, but it’s genius.

How People Use Firefox

This is pretty darn interesting. Alex Faaborg, who is the Principal Designer on Firefox, has posted a study on how people use the application, with a heat map that highlights the most and least used menu items. As you might expect Bookmarks got the most use by far, followed by copy and paste. Copy was used about twice as much as paste. Not a single person used “Redo.”
