Castle Story seems to combine the Lego-like building block elements of Minecraft (the indie gaming success story of the year), with real-time strategy gameplay. Players acquire little characters (called “Bricktrons”) that manipulate the dynamic world for you. The player’s world consists of floating islands above an endless ocean, with changing days and nights.

I saw a review of Terraria on The Totally Rad Show and gave it a try. Wow. I just lost like 8 hours of my life.  It is amazing how much fun a game can be, even when the graphics are nothing close to a gen 3 console. This is really something you should download and give a try. Heck it only cost $9.99.

If you head to Google you’ll find a homage to the video game Pac Man with their doodle logo. Click on it and you can actually play the game. This is all to honor the 30th anniversary of maybe the most popular video game of all time. You got to love those folks at Google.
